Overall I found adding plugins to IE and FireFox very interesting. I know Jason likes Firefox with all the addins and flexibility but I have a tendency to stick with IE as I keep getting reports from students that certain online databases and websites they visit only show an error. After some investigation I discover that FireFox will not work on that site, but will with IE.
eg. The Safetycare online videos:
file:///L:/Safetycare/default.htmlAlthough I do like the file downloading module in FireFox - very smart!
Give me IE anyday!

Hi Colin,
I googled the problem and came up with the following page from Mozilla on the issue.
Short answer: just copy the url into your Firefox address bar and hit enter! The page will load if you're on campus. Long answer: see the link to Mozilla.
Re downloading in Firefox, take a look at the Download Statusbar extension. Get all the benefits of the download manager without a second window opening!

Hi Col, your blog is looking great. Love the pic of Max. :)
I agree with you, Firefox has some good functions but I still prefer IE. - Lyn
